Artist Will Ryman unveiled his new art installation, “The Roses”, on Park Avenue this week. N9 had exclusive access to the overnight construction of the larger than life flowers. Check out our time-lapse videos, showing some of the incredible work accomplished to make these plants grow. This is some footage we wanted to share with you that is part of an ongoing documentary project about this site-specific work. Shen Wei, the principle choreographer of the opening ceremonies for the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, is taking his company SWDA to the streets of NYC for 2 days of “guerrilla” public performances. n9 is documenting the preparation and performances in INSIDE SHEN WEI DANCE ARTS, a series of short films exploring the intimate moments of Shen Wei and the company as they create and explore new movements and dance works.
